Craving for steamboat all of a sudden, so we head to this place since ys hasn’t been there before. I’ve been to this restaurant for a few times but it was some time ago. This restaurant is situated on the same row as the Ipoh Chicken Rice Shop Seri Petaling outlet. Quite easy to be noticed.
The exterior of the restaurant.
The interior of the restaurant. It somehow looks messier than before. Only then I noticed that they allowed customers to draw on their wall with permanent marker. It was a little unexpected.
Anyway, we ordered a combination of tomyam and herbal soup base. A combination of spicy and clear soup.
We ordered enoki mushrooms, Chinese leaf, bean curd, yi min (伊面) and their self-made fish ball. Not shown in the photo, we also ordered chicken and huang di mian(皇帝面). The soup was ok to us, but there’s nothing too attractive about it. The same goes for all their ingredients. Not too good, not too bad, just ordinary.
There was nothing too much about the food of this restaurant. To us, the best thing is that we get to draw on their wall. Ys brought along a green marker pen by luck and we drew on their wall. Notice the green colour writings above the pig?? We’re promoting Sugar Bean!
The total bill was RM46.20. One thing we have to inform you about this restaurant is that they place a gas cylinder underneath the table for cooking the steamboat. We’re not too sure if you can see that from the second photo, we didn’t manage to capture a good photo of it. Anyway, it felt a little unsafe. Hope that they can improve on this!
