Sam Yu Seafood Restaurant (三有海鲜饭店)

Posted by: Wen Ching In: Chinese Food

I realised that we have not post much on Malaysian food. So here you go, Chinese food in Sam Yu Seafood Restaurant. It was our first time dining there. I totally have no idea whether it was due to the bad weather on that day, or the restaurant was usually empty.

Anyway, this is one of their recommended dishes which is known as claypot crab. The crab was served on top the rice.

The crab was taken out of the clay pot. The rice was quite filling.

Spare ribs cooked with black grape sauce. It tasted quite sweet and appetising.

Steamed fish cooked with garlic. A dish recommended for garlic lovers.

Lastly, this is also one of their recommended dishes – Bean curd cooked with pumpkin sauce topped with mushrooms. You have to pay close attention to the photo to notice the bean curd. Haha! Something special, it tasted quite nice.

Overall, the restaurant is quite good. Suitable for family gathering or casual dinner with your friends. The service was quite good too and their restaurant was renovated not long ago. So give it a try when you have the time.

Ai Wei and Christine, the bean curd with pumpkin sauce is not bad, but if the waiter did not tell us that it’s pumpkin sauce, we wouldn’t know. Haha!

tankiasu, the pricing is just like other normal seafood restaurant, not too expensive but not too cheap.

debbie, we haven’t been there before. we’ll try that out when we have the chance.

phooi fun, did i mention that the dinner was for 2?? haha! it’s impossible to finish up all the dishes lar. dont worry bout gaining weight, someone still like 1. haha!!
