When one of us used to work in KL Sentral, we discovered this restaurant through our colleagues who gave positive feedbacks about this Chinese restaurant. On a Saturday afternoon, I decided to bring my better half to visit this restaurant.

Sin Kee Restaurant has been around since 1969 and they have been serving authentic Hainanese food as well as Western dishes at reasonable price.

My favourite dish at Sin Kee would be their Mun Fan (steamed rice). The presentation of the dish was unique, it was served on a plate with upturned bowl on it.

Remove the bowl and you will find a mound of white rice drenched with rich gravy, pork slices, Chinese sausages, squids, prawns, vegetables and a piece of omelette in it. It was delicious to eat on its own, but even better when added with sliced red chillies! Definitely something that we will recommend you to try!

We also tried their Hokkien noodles which my better half enjoyed a lot. The portion, again, was generous and the noodles were aromatic and delicious!
The total bill came up to RM22.20 with two main dishes and two drinks, which we thought was reasonably priced. Sin Kee also serves a number of Western dishes which we have yet to try. We will definitely return for more good food at Sin Kee!
