Not too long ago, we were wandering around the Kuchai Lama area looking for dessert when we noticed a sign for Indulge Café advertising mille crêpes. It sparked our interest, so we decided to give it a try.
The café was casual and simple. Looking at the menu, we found that they also served savoury items as mains ranging from Western style pasta to Asian style noodles. As tempting as it was, we already ate that day and we were just looking for dessert.
We had one slice of the Original Mille Crêpe. Priced at RM7.90 per slice, we found it to be very good! The cream was not overly sweet and the Mille Crêpe had a smooth texture due to the soft individual layers having combined with the vanilla-flavoured cream.
We also tried the Black Sesame Mille Crêpe for RM8.50. It was as good as the Original, but with a sesame flavour instead. However, we still find the Original Mille Crêpe to be the best one there!
The Matcha Latte Mille Crêpe caught our attention as well. Priced at RM8.50, we enjoyed this slice of green tea Mille Crêpe as much as we enjoyed the other flavours. Green tea lovers would definitely love this!
Of course, dessert wouldn’t be complete without something to wash it down. So we ordered a Café Latte for RM6.90.
Indulge Café was a surprisingly good discovery on our part. Never did we think we’d find something comparable to Nadeje in Kuala Lumpur, but it seems like we have! And it’s very close to us as well! For more information, check out their Facebook page.
