We have long heard about Nadeje’s mille crêpe since we were in the UK, when we came back, we went for a “makan trip” (food hunting trip) with our partners in crime – Chris and Christine, Lex and Weizhi and Ai Wei when we were all free during a weekend.

Thanks to Weizhi for researching and Chris for driving, and the rest for arranging the trip, both of us were the lazy ones who slept through most of the journey when they were busy figuring out the direction. We really do appreciate it and enjoyed the trip! Nadeje was one of the dessert places which we went to during the trip, and this post is a combination of the desserts which we ate there. Yes, it was so good that we went back there again!

The café was located in Dataran Pahlawan Melaka Megamall, it was rather easy to find. Parking, however, was rather difficult and the main roads can be rather congested during peak hours. The café caters for both outdoor and indoor seating, we opted for the latter as it was cooler inside.

Nadeje Cake House offers a wide range of drinks. Feel like trying something new, we ordered a Vegetable Yakult for RM5.90. It was nice and refreshing, although slightly expensive.

Since there were 7 of us, we ordered a lot to share. Their best seller, none other than their original Mille Crêpe, was one of the best cakes we have had so far. A bit of research on the cake told us that Mille Crêpe is a French cake made out of many pancake layers, and the word mille means a thousand, implying the many layers of crêpe. Priced at RM9 per slice, Nadeje’s version was simply one of the best, we loved how the fresh custard and vanilla cream melted in our mouth, each layer was thin and nice, every bite was delicious, one slice is just not enough!

Also priced at RM9, we ordered a slice of Tiramisu Mille Crêpe to share. Similar to the above, we found this delicious as well, but somehow preferred the original.

On our second visit, we had a slice of Royal Milk Tea Mille Crêpe which was also priced at RM9. It was good, sweet and flavourful with a hint of milk tea which left us craving for more.

Other than mille crêpes, Nadeje also serves other desserts. We sampled their Mango Tart which was priced at RM9.90. Rather disappointingly, we found it to be average. We thought it was not very worth the price paid.
Overall, we had very good experiences with their mille crepes and we will still go back for more, even though the drive is quite long! Nadeje Cake House also serves cheesecakes and other variety of cakes. Do visit their website for more information!
