We do enjoy the occasional Taiwanese dessert. With numerous outlet offering such items these days, we decided to try QQ Snowmix in Seri Petaling after hearing about it from some friends.
The premise was like a typical Taiwanese dessert shop. We placed our order at the counter and we were handed a ‘Beeping UFO’ that would beep and vibrate when our order was ready to be collected.
We decided to try their Grass Jelly Ice Series with QQ Taro, Barley and Pearls (仙草雪花冰沙系列与芋圆,薏仁,珍珠). Priced at RM6.50, we found it to be rather nice. It was not too sweet and the barley mixed with the grass jelly resulted in an enjoyable taste. The found the pearls to be quite good as well as it was not soft to the bite.
We also had a Set 13: Taiwan Black Sesame with Japanese Matcha Soup and Taipei Pudding (台式黑芝麻,日式抹茶汤,台式布丁) for RM6.50. This was also quite nice. We liked the sesame taste in what was a nice and strong green tea flavoured soup!
A relatively small chain serving Taiwanese dessert, we think that QQ Snowmix has the quality to keep up with the rest of the pack. Outlets can be found in Seri Petaling and Bandar Puteri Puchong. For more information, head over to their website.
