This post is dated back to June 2008. Guess the price and menu might have changed now. This chain operates hot dog stalls in Malaysia. It is one of our favourite places to visit for hot dogs.
A regular orange juice is priced at RM2.20 while a regular iced lemon tea is priced at RM2.30.
Priced at RM6.50 for a regular deal, the well-known New York Chicken is our all time favourite from 1901. The sausage was soft and nice, plus a simple combination of mayonnaise and pickles, it was good to the last bite.
The Texas Ted was quite good too. Priced at RM6.50 for the regular deal, the hot dog which was topped with cheese was very tasty, the cheese was rather mild but blended well with the sausage. A very good snack!
We learned from their website that they are now offering new hot dogs such as the Wild Wild West (sausage covered with BBQ baked bean), The Silenz of the Lamb (steamed lamb sausage with mustard and onions) and Sate Riang (chicken sate hot dog covered with peanut gravy). Besides, they also offer a variety of platters and burgers. 1901 hot dogs are also available for sale in GSC cinemas, so that if you’re looking for something else than popcorn, this would be a good choice!
