We’ve long heard of this restaurant for their fine cuisine. So we decided to give it a try ourselves. The restaurant was really packed when we arrived at dinner time on a Friday night. It took some time for the waiter to look for a seat for us.
We started off with our appetiser – Tapas, champinones con ajo. The mushrooms were cooked in garlic, chilli and olive oil. It was served with their homemade bread. Priced at RM9, this tasted really good with a strong aroma of garlic and chilli! Worth trying it out though it might be a little pricey.
Another appetiser. These are baked sea snails served with bread. It costs RM7. Tasted quite good as well.
Then we had our cream of mushrooms. Priced at RM9. This was recommended by the waitress and it proved to be good! It was creamier and much tastier compared to other mushroom soup! A must order soup in Pizza Uno.
The alla carbonara was really delicious too! The fettucine was served with chicken bacon and onion in a really creamy sauce. But I think it was because we took quite some time to take photos, it turned out to be a bit dry when we ate it. We learnt our lesson. Take a few shots quickly and eat it!
Yeah, as you guessed, couldn’t live without dessert. We ordered lemon panna cotta for RM7. After a filling dinner, if you’re planning for something lighter, this Italian custard would be a good choice. The custard was really creamy and it went well with strawberry sauce.
Definitely a good place to dine in for fine Italian cuisine. Their service was fine too. But the place was a bit crowded and the tables were really close to each other. A good place for normal hang out with friends but for a romantic dinner for two, we would suggest somewhere quieter!
