We haven’t visit this restaurant for a very long time. So we decided to visit this restaurant which is located in Bangsar Village 1.
The front entrance was rather attractive and stylish. As mizu means water, they used water as their main theme of their entrance.
The interior of this restaurant is undeniably impressive and elegant.
This is the complimentary appetiser. Facing trouble in choosing what to order because there were so many choices. Finally, we settled with a sushi course, akagai sashimi and Japanese thin white noodles.
We begin our dinner with akagai sashimi (赤貝刺身), priced at RM45. Akagai is known as red shell fish or ark shell in English, we noticed that it was rarely served in most restaurants. We haven’t eaten akagai for quite some time. I guess the photo could tell that the akagai was rather fresh, it was really juicy and delicious. Can’t wait to taste it again!
Our sushi course includes an appetiser, foie gras with radish, assorted sushi, tempura, miso soup and ice-cream. This course costs RM90. We started off with our appetiser, we were not too sure what it is, but the fish tasted quite sweet and crispy, definitely appetising with a little squeezed lemon.
After that, we were served with tempura (天ぷら). The prawns were really juicy and the outer layer was very crispy. We love it!
Next, we had foie gras with radish. It was very sweet and very delicious! Absolutely love it!
Then we had our sushi. Our favourite would be the uni sushi (海栗寿司). Overall, the sushis were quite fresh.
Here’s our miso soup (味噌汁). It was quite flavourful added with egg and tiny mushrooms.
For our Japanese thin white noodles, also known as inaniwa udon (稲庭うどん), we had it cold. If you enjoy soba noodles (蕎麦), I’m quite sure that you would enjoy this noodle too. This costs RM23.
Finally we had our dessert. They ended our meal by serving us goma ice-cream (胡麻アイス).
We enjoyed dining in this restaurant. The food was good but service was quite moderate. The price for the food was expensive, but it was quite worth it.
