Nippon Tei

Posted by: Wen Ching In: Japanese Food

Back to Japanese food again. We were having difficulties deciding where to dine in. But finally, we made a choice to try out this restaurant since it was in KLCC for a long time but we’ve never tried it before.

This is the Nippon Tei gozen set which we ordered. They served sashimi, sushi, maki sushi, tamago (egg), unagi (eel), salad, edamame (green soy bean), miso soup and fruits. For the raw fish, we were a bit disappointed because it wasn’t very fresh.

A closer look at the Nippon Tei Gozen set.

This is the second set that we ordered, chicken teriyaki set. This was served with rice, miso soup, salad and pickles. It was quite delicious.

This is the view of restaurant, situated on the highest level of KLCC shopping mall. The interior design of the restaurant was excellent as well as its location.

By the way, there’s another thing that I would like to comment on this restaurant. Overall, excluding the japanese chef who occassionally serves customers, the service provided by the attendants were not satisfactory and it did not achieve the normal standards of service and courtersy in japanese restaurants.

Anyone reading this post, don’t take this too seriously as it is only my humble opinion. So here’s the ratings.

hui chien, it’s not that our requirement is high. the restaurant is not as good as it should be. we wrote down reasons why we rated the restaurant this way.
