After hearing good reviews from my Japanese colleague and reading good feedbacks from a few blogs, we decided to visit this restaurant for some good udon!

The Japanese-owned restaurant was located in a quiet neighbourhood in Taman Desa and it was rather easy to find. The restaurant wasn’t fancy but it was decent, clean and pleasant.

We started our meal with two types of Kushiyaki (串焼きかき). The skewer grilled shiitake mushroom and chicken was priced at RM2 and RM3 respectively. They were both simple and nice to eat, quite a good start for the meal!

Besides that, we also ordered a plate of Karaage Chicken (唐揚げ) to share. Priced at only RM3, this plate of freshly deep-fried chicken was crunchy and delicious! A perfect side dish for the noodles!

Finally our long anticipated wheat udons were served. Priced at RM7, our bowl of Kakiage Udon (揚げうどん) was served fresh and hot. The sanuki udon, made fresh by Seiji Fujimoto san daily, was fresh, chewy and al dente. The deep-fried mixed vegetable strips on the other hand, was crunchy and matches well with the fresh and thick udon. We loved it!

The House Special with Egg Udon was simplicity at its best! Priced at RM5, the bowl of udon was made extra silky and smooth with the egg melted in the noodles. Every bite was heavenly delicious! We will definitely order this again!
We were happy to discover this hidden gem in Taman Desa. The price was reasonable and the quality of the food was excellent. We highly recommend Japanese food lovers to try this place out! However, big eaters like us weren’t full after this meal, we suddenly recalled another Japanese eatery in the same area and decided to go for round two! Stay tuned with us for our Japanese food hunt in Taman Desa!
