We’ve drove past this restaurant many times so finally, it’s time to try it out! Located on the same row as Wong Kok Char Chan Teng (汪角茶餐厅) in SS2, easily noticeable but parking would be quite difficult to look for.

The interior of the restaurant. Quite comfortable and pleasant. We noticed that they actually have sushi belt but not many choices are available. Not sure if it’s visible in this photo but they do have flat screen monitors on the side of most tables.

So here’s our food – Tako yaki (たこ焼) as our side dish for RM7.90. It tasted average to us.
For our main course, we ordered this fish roe rice (寿司友スペシャル丼) served with miso soup for RM12.90. Perhaps the stone bowl looks quite large from this photo, but we have to say that this stone bowl was really small in size. It was quite difficult for us to mix the ingredients. And we didn’t like the taste of it. The serving of rish roe was small, the rice wasn’t crispy and it was too sweet.
Priced at RM19.50, our roll ramen set was a combination of rainbow sushi and ramen. The ramen serving was rather small. As for the rainbow sushi, we can hardly taste the raw fish of the sushi as it was too thinly sliced. And the chawan mushi tasted quite bad too.
Our total bill was RM48.90. We find this place a bit expensive as their servings are quite small. Not a place that we would visit again, there’re other better Japanese restaurants than this.
