We haven’t been to this restaurant before, but we’ve long heard that they serve good Korean food. So when we passed by this new branch in Bandar Puteri Puchong, we went straight in for lunch.
Parking was limited and it took us quite some time to find an empty space.
We find the environment of this restaurant very clean, new and tidy. There were ventilators on each tables, therefore keeping the air cleaner when customers are barbequing their food.
Shortly after placing our orders, our side dishes (반찬) arrived. Felt so happy surrounded by so many side dishes. Most of them are delicious, especially the kimchi (김치).
For our mains, we decided to try out their new dish, dakkejang (닭개장). Priced at RM18, this hot chicken soup was served with rice. Various vegetables and egg were served in this spicy soup. It was quite delicious overall. But somehow we still prefer kimchi jigae (김치찌개), perhaps it tasted better because it tasted rather sour and appetising.
When noticed that they serve kimbab (김밥) for lunch, we ordered it without second thoughts. Priced at RM18, this kimbab set (김밥도시락) was served with 4 types of different side dishes. This Korean style sushi roll was filled with chicken sausages, egg and other vegetables. Though some would find it rather bland, we enjoyed this thoroughly as it was rather simple and healthy.
Finally, we were served with our desserts which includes 2 cups of sikhye (식혜) and 2 slices of watermelon. As usual, we enjoyed the sikhye drink very much as it tasted rather sweet.
We had a pleasant lunch in Daorae. This could be one of the good Korean restaurants to visit for authentic Korean food. There are 3 other branches of this restaurant which are situated in Desa Sri Hartamas, Subang Taipan and Kota Damansara. Do check them out if you have the chance!
