We’ve been to this restaurant many times but this is our first time posting it. We came with Ting Fang and Ai Wei to celebrate Ting Fang’s belated birthday. Sorry for the delay!
Anyway, this restaurant is situated on the same row as Maybank. Sometimes, parking can be an issue here. So be patient while looking for a car park.
We dined in the small room on the left, it was rather comfortable as there were more privacy and we can take photos freely. If you choose to dine near the balcony, it can be very warm, even at night.
Shortly after ordering, the waiter filled our table with 10 types of side dishes. Similar to most Korean restaurants, these side dishes can be refilled for free. Most side dishes tasted really good, especially the radish.
Here’s our kimchi pancake (김치전) for RM20. This pan-fried pancake was well cooked and it tasted just right, we enjoyed the slightly sourish and spicy taste of the kimchi which enhanced the taste of the pancake.
For our mains, we ordered a mixed stew (부대찌개) for RM50. This dish too, did not let us down as a generous serving of pork, sausage, kimchi, enoki mushrooms, vegetables, noodles and ddeok (떡) were served. Ddeok means Korean rice cake and it was one of the ingredients that we enjoyed most. The soup was spicy, appetising and the serving was large.
Finally, we had our complimentary watermelon. It was good for digestion as we were really full when we finished our meal.
Service was really good for this restaurant, the waiters were very attentive and polite. The price is quite reasonable too. For Korean food lovers, this could be a place that you can visit for authentic Korean food.
