Like we mentioned in our previous post in Hailam Kopitiam, there’re lots of new restaurants opening around this area lately. It’s really convenient especially when we’re looking for places for supper occasionally. Some of these restaurants are opened until late night. 2046 is one of them. So we decided to give this place a try.
There were quite a number of customers although it was quite late when we enter the restaurant. Some of them with their laptop, perhaps it was because they provide free Wifi service. They also provide playing cards and magazines for customers.
Besides food, they sell paintings and souvenirs. There were many artworks hung on the walls of the restaurant.
Back to our main topic – food. We ordered a French toast for RM5. Slightly expensive but it tasted quite good topped with a generous serving of honey. It was quite filling.
Can’t resist something hot, we ordered seafood tom yam soup with rice for RM8.90. If you enjoy something really hot and spicy, this would be a good choice. Two glasses of water are definitely not enough to put off the fire! We like this tom yam probably because the soup was filled with a large serving of mushrooms, tomatoes, fishcakes and other vegetables.
Service was quite average. Not bad for its food, gonna try out different food next time!
