Having read positive reviews about this place, we wanted to give this place a go. Before we have the chance to visit their outlet in Damansara Perdana, we noticed this outlet in Kuchai Lama Maju (where lots of new restaurants are mushrooming recently) and went straight to try it out!
The main problem of eating out in this area is that there’re limited spaces for parking.
The interior of the restaurant. As we mentioned in our previous post on Kafe Kopi Town, all these kopitiam restaurants look alike. We like this traditional looking type of restaurants, feels so cozy dining there.
So here we go, our nasi lemak special with rendang chicken priced at RM7.80. It tastes as good as it looks. The rendang chicken was quite soft and juicy and the sambal tasted quite spicy. We somehow prefer their nasi lemak rather than Leo’s Café!
Next up, black pepper Hainanese chicken chop sandwich at RM5.20. The black pepper chicken, together with button mushrooms, lettuce, cucumber and tomato was stuffed into the hot dog bun. Tasted quite good with quite a mild taste of black pepper.
A revisit for this restaurant would be definite. We have yet to try their signature home-made kaya and other local delicacies. In terms of service, they were quite attentive and diligent. Definitely a place worth trying out!
