We passed by this restaurant many times at Summit and this is the time when we finally decided to pay them a visit.
Located at the lower ground of the Summit shopping complex, this restaurant looks attractive with the design of a bright red train visible to any visitors passing by.
For our drinks, we ordered 1 special bubble tea mix with passion honey dew flavour. Priced at RM5.90, the overall taste was quite average. The one on the right was the strawberry yogurt bubble tea which we ordered for RM4.90. Our advice is not to order this drink because it really tasted very bad, the strawberry flavour was so artificial that it actually felt like tasting medicine.
Anyway, for our steamboat, we ordered a special meat and seafood steamboat set at RM18.90 for 2 persons. They offered free ice-cream and free dessert for ordering this set. There were also a large variety of dipping sauces for us to choose from. Given a choice of miso and tom yam soup, we opted for the tom yam soup as we wanted something spicy. At first instance, everything looks quite good, but when we cooked the ingredients, we realised that the ingredients served were quite little and the seafood such as crab wasn’t very fresh.
That was definitely not enough for dinner. We went on to the counter to help ourselves with more ingredients. We wanted more meat but dare not take any because most of the meat do not seem fresh and so we ended up taking vegetables. The purple plate costs RM0.90 while the green plate costs RM1.90 each.
Everything tasted ordinary including the tom yam soup. We would prefer dining in Mizi Shabu-shabu Steamboat Restaurant rather than this place.
