Being fans of spicy food, we decided to go for Thai cuisine this time. Since we’ve yet to try this restaurant out, we decided to check this place out.
We can choose to dine outside or the inside of the restaurant.
The restaurant looks modern and decorative.
We decided to go inside. The seats are really comfortable. After talking to the waiter, we learned that this restaurant is part of the group which set up Bangkok Jazz.
We had this Thai iced tea as it was strongly recommended by the waiter. This drink was rather expensive at RM10, the taste was quite good but somehow it tasted quite similar to the normal iced milk tea.
We ordered a spicy tom yam mee hoon with seafood. The spiciness of this dish was labeled as explosive in the menu. However, we found that the soup was not quite spicy and the amount of ingredients served was rather small. The prawns served were really small compared to Secret Recipe’s tom yam kung noodles. For the price of RM16.50 for this dish, we expected more.
Here’s our steamed rice with hot basil chicken and sunny side up for RM15.50. The first thing which caught our attention when this dish was served was the egg. It was supposed to be sunny side up, did they overcooked it? Well, anyway, this dish was labeled as spicy in the menu but again, the chicken wasn’t spicy. The chicken tasted quite good but somehow we don’t think it’s worth the price.
The service was quite good and they were really attentive. But for some reasons, they did not allow us to capture photos of the environment of this restaurant. Anyway, if you’re looking for a Thai restaurant with excellent environment, this would be the right place.
