I think it’s time to introduce more variety of food in this blog. So finally when we received a voucher from Citibank a few days ago, we dined in DÔME Café the next day right away. For our main dish, we ordered DÔME’s infamous gourmet chicken and mushroom pie. One of my all-time favourite dish in DÔME, chicken and mushroom filling were served in a porcelain bowl baked with puff pastry. It is also served with sautéed vegetables. The pastry cap is really delicious, a combination of the soup and the puff pastry really tasted great. And it was very filling.
Next, we decided to order pasta – Spicy chicken mushroom pasta. We have a choice of spaghetti or linguini. As you can see from the photo, we choose spaghetti. The sauce was really creamy but it wasn’t spicy at all. Delicious, I would say.
Lastly, something that I’ve longed for – dessert. I checked out the cake display before placing my order, there were many other cakes that I would like to try out next time. For this visit, we ordered fruits of the forest cheesecake. First time trying out this, the cheesecake is topped with berries with a crunchy base. Really delicious I would say, the berries were quite sour and it was really appetising.
