Ribs By Vintry
Posted by: Wen Ching In: Western Food
Last Christmas we wanted to go for dinner at a place we’ve never been to together before. We decided on Ribs by Vintry because one of us has tried it before and thought that it was quite good. Located on Jalan Kasah in Medan Damansara, the location was convenient for us. The only drawback being that parking might be hard to come by later in the day.
To start, we had the Caramelised Roast Pork for RM18. This starter comes in a spicy and non-spicy variant. Naturally, we opted for the spicy one. This dish consisted of roast pork wok-fried in soy sauce and caramelized with sugar. The pork was very crunchy and slightly sweet. There was a hint of spiciness within the flavours as we noticed tiny bits of chili amongst the pork and on the plate. We thought this starter was very good, but this was definitely one to share! It might be a bit too much for one person to finish.
One of our mains was the BBQ Pork Ribs. A medium portion was priced at RM42. The meat was soft and the barbecue marinade made it sweet to taste. Some enjoyable pork ribs, though not the best we’ve had. Accompanying the ribs were a portion of coleslaw and mashed potatoes.
We also had the Chef Pasta for RM36. This was a tomato-based spaghetti dish, pan-fried with Taiwanese sausages, pork bacon, sliced mushrooms and pork croutons. We thought the pasta was excellent. The tomato-based sauce was light and there was a generous amount of pork in the pasta. We would recommend this dish highly!
For pork lovers, Rib By Vintry is something that you would enjoy very much! We know that we definitely did! For more information, do visit their website.
