Sunken Pool Bar, Berjaya Tioman Beach
Posted by: Wen Ching In: Tioman Island|Western Food
Back to our Tioman trip again. Once more, we woke up to a bright and cheerful weather and decided to take a stroll along the beach.
The weather was really good for photo shooting and these are some of the photos that ys have taken on that day. Renggis Island can be seen from here.
Another closer shot of Renggis Island.
Though it was really sunny, we decided to go for swimming in the hotel’s swimming pool. The pool was large and well-maintained. We swam until we were tired and decided to dine at the pool bar for snacks. We do not have our camera with us at that time, and were hesitating whether we should return to our room for it. Finally, we made a decision to take our camera ( even though our room is quite far from the pool) since we did not want to regret not taking these photos.
Here’s our tropical punch mocktail for RM14. Everything is expensive especially dining in hotels. But having this drink at that time felt like heaven to us, the tropical punch tasted great with natural tropical fruits taste. Not only did it quenched our thirst, it felt so relaxing having fun in this pool bar. But it was quite troublesome taking photos here as we were soaking wet and we did not want to wet our camera.
Initially, we only wanted to have some snacks in this bar, so we ordered a plate of French fries for RM5. The fries were served warmed and as you can see, the serving was huge! No complaints about it.
Feeling hungrier and more aggressive for food, we can’t resist ordering more and we had a pizza prosciutto for RM24.50. This pizza was topped with tomato, ham, button mushroom, olives and mozzarella cheese. It took them quite some time to serve the pizza since they have to order it from Sri Nelayan, but it was worth waiting after all. The pizza was delicious, it had a strong sense of cheese and tomato with chewy and sweet button mushrooms topped on it, forming an incredible combination!
We really enjoyed our time there. We hardly have any chance to dine in a pool bar if not for travelling. Anyone who had this chance must try dining in the pool bar, it was really fun and different dining on water.
