T.G.I. Friday’s

Posted by: Wen Ching In: Western Food

We decided to visit T.G.I. Friday’s this time, since we got a voucher again. We arrived quite late in The Curve. It was a Saturday night and the place was so packed. We queued up for about 15 minutes for our seat. My advice is, next time, if you wanted to dine in any pleasant restaurants in The Curve, make sure you make a reservation in advance.

Anyway, here’s the 3 course meal which we ordered. This includes 1 appetizer, 1 entrée and 1 dessert. For our appetizer, we ordered Buffalo Wings. These New York-style chicken wings were deep-fried. It was a little spicy and the taste blended well with the cheese dressing which they provided. Even the celery sticks tasted great!

We chose sizzling sautéed chicken as our main course. As you can see from the photo, chicken breast, with red and green bell pepper, was served with rice together with melted cheeses. The cheese was really tasty and it was really, really filling.

This is our second main course – Jack Daniel’s chicken and shrimp. The chicken breast and shrimps were served with Jack Daniel’s dipping sauce, vegetables and mashed potatoes. We highly recommend you to order this, the shrimps were really good, you have to try them!

Dessert time! By the time we finished our main course, our stomachs were close to bursting but we still have a dessert. Here’s out mocha mud pie. It tasted so good that we actually finished it, even though we were really full by then. The chocolate mousse and coffee ice-cream were topped with hot fudge and it was a great combination with the almond slices.

As for our drinks, we ordered Gold Medalist. This is a mixture of strawberry and banana smoothie. It was very rich in taste, worth giving it a try!

Nice place to dine in and a great place to watch a football match or to have a drink with your peers. Oh, did I mention that the attendants will sing you a really long and loud birthday song when it’s your birthday? It was really special and those of you who enjoy that can try it out on your birthday.
